Injured

I picked up this little guy on the road this morning. He was trying to fly, but failing because one of his wings was torn. So, he came home with me and is now in my back garden to either pass away or recover. If he dies, I'll bury him in one of the pots, if he recovers, I hope he lives for a few more days.

I just checked on this lovely little guy and found he had died in one of my potted plants. So, I gave him a decent burial in the pot he died in. What lovely specimen of a butterfly he was though, eh?

@digitalrn She didn't... she laid two eggs on my hand and then died in my garden. :(
