Not far from my place is a fully-grown Jacaranda Tree. It's big and tall and gorgeously purple! I love it as it reminds me of my late-Grandma - Doris Killips - and so each year, I've been photographing it around this time of year.
Today, I thought to really pull the purple out of the photos I took of its gorgeous flowers.

@bkbinthecity@digitalrn Thank you both for your lovely comments. Jacarandas are just lovely at this time of the year... and I also have a chair in my back yard painted the same colour as the flower; so even if they're not in flower all year round, the chair can be the colour of them all year round.
