Halloween Night by mozette

Halloween Night

I had a good night last night. My new neighbours dropped by and admired my handy-work on the pumpkins; and they brought one of their Mum's along to have a look. She took one look at me and asked if I lived at Runcorn at one point in my life... and what do you know?... I'm living next door to an old next door neighbour's son!
The lady was amazed at how small this world actually is and we caught up for over an hour!

I didn't get any kids - and my front light was on until 9pm. Oh well... at least I gave it good go. I now have a whole lot of noise-makers and a bag of lollies to myself - very cool! :D

Oh... the spaghetti is the trick I normally make up. I cook up very cheap spaghetti, let it go cold, put it into a bowl with some grapes, food colouring and oil, then lay a towel over it. When I get smart-ass kids who demand a trick, I get them to put their hand under the towel and tell them it's brains! They pull their hand out quick and it's all gooey and covered in food colouring! :D A great trick and never fails to get a reaction :D
Oh now the Spaghetti is a nice idea to get even. Our Trick or Treat is tonight, but we will not be around since they changed the night on us due to Hurricane Sandy's disruption

And to avoid them wiping their hand on you, off up the towel so you have only one item you have to wash and not your clothes. :)

The best kids I got were primary school kids who not only fell for the trick but wanted a closer look at it and ended up getting her faces into the spaghetti and grapes too! It was so funny! However, their school Principal didn't think so the next day when the food colouring didn't come off, and they were sent home until it did. :P
