Yesterday, as I walked over the road to check the mail, I spotted a sign attached to a light pole advertising Bromiliads for sale a street away from where I lived. So, I took a photo and didn't think anything of it - not until I uploaded my photos onto the computer.
This morning, I awoke to a wet, dreary day. I didn't want to get out of bed, but I did. I readied myself and took off to Bunda Street in the rain under my red brolly with $20 in my pocket. And I came home with two lovely plants - one sun-loving one and shade-loving one. But I also got a freebie... how? Well, I was short-changed and went back to get my $2.00 and the lady gave me another plant and a pup as well. How cool is that?
