This is my rather desolate front garden. I want to do more to it soon. I have plans to buy a large pot and plant some bromiliads in it with stones surrounding it to keep the weeds at bay. And getting more succulents in large pots to make it look good as well as another few bigger stones to make that centre stone look good and not so alone.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn It used to look much better around 6 years ago when I had succulents of all types in it. But the caretaker we had at the time had his snotty daughter living with him and she 'employed' some of her friends around the place to destroy my garden by stomping on them. A lot of my original plants didn't survive - well, except for these two, my Large Leaf Jade and a few smaller plants which I put into the security of my backyard. Since then, I've just left my front garden to become a bit of a desert... but now, I want to make it look good; especially seeing I'm more permanent now. But terracotta pots always make a place look great; especially with the right plants in them.
@digitalrn@melissapike Well, guys, Christmas is coming up... so what I'm hoping to do is buy some very, very cheap tinsel and decorate these two trees with it! :D Make my place look very festive for this year. This is the main reason why I grew these trees this tall, so I'd have two tall Christmas trees out the front of my house to have fun with. :D
