Today, I was out and about in the heat of Logan City to meet up with my old college friend, Susan Waaga. She and I met about 15 years ago and have been best friends since; even though we lost touch for a while, we managed to find each other again and never lost touch again.
This year, we met up at the Logan Hyperdome where we had lunch at an Italian restaurant, saw Santa listening to the kids wishes and I even went ice skating on oiled plastic! :D
Now, don't worry, I didn't break anything... just my pride when I found I was very much out of practice with my ice skating skills. :P
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@melissapike I just wish the ice skating rink was real ice... it would have been much cooler and a lot more fun. :D
And that pizza was delicious - but filling - and so I brought it home in a doggy bag. However, after 6 hours without refrigeration, in the heat of the day, I don't think it would be edible; even though it's vegetarian.
