Last night was Earth Hour. So, out came the candles and off went all my lights and television set for one hour of darkness.
I got in and began reading a book titled 'Nosebleed' by Ged Maybury. It's due to be launched next month and I'm writing the launch speech; so I have to read it... anyway, I got halfway through this wonderfully funny, thin book by the time the hour was up.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn yeah, that's true. And you know, nobody in my area did it. I find that really bad that nobody will live voluntarily without power for one hour of their lives; and yet I will.
Besides, I spent a good part of the 1980's in the dark because of our politicians thought we didn't need electricity... so this was fun for me.
