The Last Bloom

It's a wet, cold day today, so I thought to upload a nice, pretty photo. This was last week when it was in full bloom... however, there's no other buds on my Gloxinia to show of new flowers.

So, no more flowers until next year.

@bkbinthecity @digitalrn thank you both for your lovely comments. After the cooler weather shows up, this plant will die back completely - leaves and all - and the pot will be bare soil for the whole of Winter. Then, around October/November, it will sprout new leaves and start blooming again. :D
