Singing For Her Supper by mozette

Singing For Her Supper

This morning, I got in and did some laundry. It took me over an hour, but I got it done. However, when I was putting out the first load onto the line, little Sheba showed up at my back door calling for something to eat.

This is something she never does. And a sign that her owners haven't fed her or Kitty-Kat.

I patted her and she was grateful, but I still didn't let her in or feed her. This is something I really wish I could do something about. The poor little guys. They are so friendly and yet, their owners don't care for them they way they should.
It's a shame but this happens so often

@digitalrn @bkbinthecity Thank you guys for your lovely - yet sad - comments. I have to agree with you, it is sad this does happen. I wish it didn't, but it does. And yet these cats just lovely little guys :(

@digitalrn @bkbinthecity UPDATE: I've found out something about Kitty-Kat and Sheba: Kitty-Kat's owner moved out and so took him with him. I hadn't seen him for a while and wondered what happened to him... and Sheba has been delegated indoors permanently as a neighbour a few doors down complained to the Logan City Council and her owners were ordered to keep her indoors.
I told Sheba's owners that Kitty-Kat and Sheba used to come to my place for cuddles and pats when they went to work... and Kitty-Kat would jump up on my lap, curl up on me and go to sleep. She laughed and said, 'Well, that's why he suddenly became so snuggly!' and Sheba put on weight because Kitty-Kat went away; he was a guts... ate all her food on her and she'd starve. :-/
