Between 13th - 16th March, it's the World's Greatest Shave. This is to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation to find a cure to Blood Cancer... which can strike even the most healthy person down.
I have been doing this fun colouring of my hair for about 5 years now, and love it! However, a lot of people have stopped sponsoring me... I only made $70 this year (Dad is going to give me another $20 on Monday) but online, there's no money on my online sponsorship... this is very sad, but I still love giving this a go.
Mum and I went to Centro at Springwood and I had my hair coloured purple and blue... I did invite my Facebook friends from around Brisbane, but nobody showed... oh well, their loss on how much fun one of these events really are. :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@wendyfrost Ummm... not really. What you have to do is get 2 in 1 anti-dandruff shampoo (Nutragena is the best I've found as it smells great and doesn't dry out your scalp) and mix it with Bi-Carb Soda in your hands.... then scrub like hell! Do that around three times in a shower as hot as you can stand it.
And oh.... don't get that crap in your eyes! I hurts like hell! The colour I mean, while you're washing it out! It kills! I've been doing this for a while now, and it's been a steep learning curve and I have learned a lot about the colours.
And after you shampoo that stuff out, you get your normal shampoo and conditioner and use like normal, and make sure you leave a little conditioner in to start the repair on your hair as the anti-dandruff stuff really strips your hair folicles. :(
