This is Karen Tyrrell. She used to be a school teacher and has written about her life with mental illness and bullying within the school system... and so, she decided to write about how it affects children in the schoolyard too.
How great is that?
Her book 'Stop the Bully' is about Brian and his classmate who get bullied at school. They are stuck together in the classroom as the odd couple of friends, but end up becoming friends due to being the odd ones out... it's a great book and has strategies on how to stop bullying within the schoolyard from all points of view; not just the child's but the parents and the school's as well.
I wish I had this kind of help when I was bullied as a child.
