Yesterday, one of the really big Lilly-Pilly's were chopped down at the unit complex next door because the roots were interfering with the pipes underground. Unfortunately, it left this poor little guy without a place to live...
This morning I spotted him running for his life across the roofs of the units from my back door. He's terrified of not being able to live somewhere. Fortunately, I've left a banana out for him so he can find a home in my Lilly-Pillys next to my place... no problems. :D
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn yeah, he's a possum. They are nocturnal animals usually. but when their homes are taken away, they are seen during the day running around looking for a new place and being picked on by birds.
@digitalrn@wendyfrost Tonight, I heard something running around the on the roof of my carport... and then while I was chatting to one of my neighbours, we spotted him walking along the boundary fence. So, I'd say he's sussing out a new home in amongst the trees around my place. I hope he finds a home nearby.
