Birthday Lunch

Yesterday, I went out to Gabe and Kat's place to have a birthday lunch with them. Riley was there as well; and I wanted to spend my birthday with her too. We had a lovely lunch of spring rolls - make your own - with rice paper, and the cake I brought a long and coffee.

Yummo!

Jay the Wonderdog was there - of course - and she tried out a piece of carrot (which is what she's doing in the photo with Gabe) and she ended up chewing it up like stick and spitting it out... funny woofy.

But before long, Riley was packing to head off to her Mum's place I had to get going too to beat the traffic home.

What a great afternoon with my brother's family I had. :D

@digitalrn We did... even though I ran myself a little late, I made it on time. :D

And the esky/cooler I bought myself for my birthday has really paid off ... it's light, small enough for everything and didn't cost the earth. I always buy myself a present for birthday and Christmas - seeing I don't have a boyfriend or significant other - and I make sure I spend between $25 - $50 on my birthday and almost $100 at Christmas. :D

@digitalrn @annelis @bkbinthecity @wendyfrost Thank you all for your lovely comments. We had a great few hours together at my brother's house. The cake was from Coles - and was a fresh chocolate mud cake with fresh cream in the centre! Yummo!

I love hanging out with family on birthdays, it's just good to be around them :D
