24 Hours Later

It rained yesterday - for a good part of the morning - and it was a nice cool day. Then, the sun came out and we were all relieved to have something feed the gardens.

Today, I went outside to find some of the flowers had opened a little more, some of them had opened completely and others, well I'm still waiting on to push through the soil... namely the Gloxinia (which is normally out in leaf and pushing buds for flowers up by now. I think it's dead, but I'll get another one; after all I've had it since I was 16... so that's a long time).

Otherwise, I caught a spider on its morning wander around my yard too.
Great collage of your super collection of plants.

@wendyfrost Still wondering if my Gloxinia's dead or not... it only put out 4 flowers last year, and looked very leggy too... and this year, no flowers at all after I repotted it into a bigger pot. I thought it would have more room to move... but it doesn't look like it. Looks like it went into shock and died. :(

@mozette Some plants like to have their roots restricted. You never now it might surprise you.

@wendyfrost I have to wait until Winter to see if the bulb has died... this sucks that it's not even leafing yet. :( I really like this plant and usually puts out 20 flowers over Summer.

Well it's still early so you have time to pick out another Gloxinia
