During my holidays, I started writing in a writer's journal; but instead of it being just words, I thought to use pictures too and bought a set of coloured pencils to fill in the background of what I was describing.
So, I bought these lovely pencils very cheaply at the $2.00 store and my journal started looking better; as my words came to life. :D

From our first years in elementary school, didn't we always love to start fresh with a new box of crayons (or in this case, coloured pencils!) They DO make everything look better!

I really didn't expect so many as this was one of my favourite photos I took on my new phone... and it was before I started using the pencils.... and yes, Louise, pencils do make everything look better, I really do agree with you on that! :D
It's always so much more pretty when you take yourself back to your childhood with pencils or crayons and find your inner child is hankering for a bit of fun; like mine has been. :D
