In One Afternoon

Yesterday, I was out for lunch at a friend's house. We had a lovely time chatting about everything and laughing while his dog, Mindy, showed off running around jumping in the pool.

After a gorgeous lunch of my famous 'C' Salad (it's based on lettuce and spinach, and all the other munchies start with the letter 'C'... cashews, cranberries, capsicum... you get the idea), we chatted more and he offered me a box set of 'The Chronicals of Narnia' on VCR... Well, I said yes! You can't find them anywhere anymore - especially the BBC issue ones.

Well, once home, I started cleaning up again. You see, Frank had offered me a Zen Garden Uncle Allan had bought and Frank didn't want anymore. I have a spot for it, but still had to tidy it up a little to put it here (and besides I had been thinking of getting one for my living room). Well, I said yes to that too! But I forgot to bring it home. I called him and said I had left it behind, he was happy I did want it and said he'd set it to one side for me to pick up soon.

Well, after that call, I really got into tidying up! First if it was the credenza, then then piano, the kitchen bench and then the bathroom! And then, I made another little terrarium... and then, I added to the donation box!

What an afternoon!

Then, I found some photos of what my work area looked like before and after my work bench was built.... just look at that change!

@digitalrn @nicknac Thank you both for your lovely comments. I still have a long way to go with my house. And with Cyclone Marcia making landfall just this morning - and a huge amount of rain falling as I write this, I have a full weekend ahead of me to clean the house out.
