Badges

When I used to work for RACQ, I was the one who folded the stapled letters - all of those letters!

A lot of the times I did all the 25-Year Letters, where those members received a 25-Year Sticker in the mail with their letter to put on their cars.

Then, there was the odd time when I sent out a 50-Year Badge (that's the far right hand one). I only posted out 5 of those puppies in the time I was with RACQ (and that was 5 years). It was a privilege to have done that because I had to wrap them in bubble wrap, put them into a different envelope and send it certified mail. You don't see those on people's cars very much unless they've been with members for over 50 years.

This car has 50 year badges from 2 states (Queensland, New South Wales) and then there's the 100 years of RACQ badge - which was a limited edition for the over-50-Year members to own.

When I saw this yesterday, I couldn't walk past it without taking a photograph. And it was on a lovely car too.
