Today was Australia Day here - and a public holiday. I was rostered on at the gallery to work (and they hadn't written down on the roster that it was a public holiday, just that we were supposed to show up). Silly really... I wonder how many others showed up to find it was closed today.
Oh well, never mind.
I went to my folks' house instead and had lunch with them in their back yard. And what's Australia Day without a BBQ, oysters and prawns? It's not... we enjoyed it without rain as it turned nice and cool too.
