Today was the World's Greatest Shave event in my area for the Luekaemia Foundation of Queensland.
I checked myself into a new place holding an event - The Barra Bar at the Springwood Hotel as it was their first and I thought to give them a try. Well, what a mistake!!! They didn't put up the banner, none of the staff were wearing the 'World's Greatest Shave' t-shirts and they weren't really into it... I mean, it's a sports bar and they couldn't be bothered turning on the lights for the stage area or even promoting the event properly. They only had one hair dresser who became overwhelmed very quickly... and the bar flies picked on the kids who got their heads shaved (what crap, right?).
Anyway, I stepped up and told them my hair was a year of growth after getting it shaved last year... well! More people wanted to shave after that and the bar flies stopped being idiots. Mum got the ball rolling on the colouring and it all kind of worked out on its own. Then once mine was done, we left...
The hair dresser was great! Look how well she did my hair! :D

@wendyfrost Thank you for your lovely comment. Aah yes. The colours for this event always do. The World's Greatest Shave is a great event to raise money for the Leukeamia Foundation to help find a cure for blood cancer. I had a different type of cancer in my life, but this is my way of giving back.
It's always fun to colour when you know it'll wash out. :D I raised almost $300 this year. :D
