Yesterday, I bought a Ficus... this is related to the Fig and is a topiary.
Today, I went out and bought the pot, potting mix and feet at Masters for just $50... not bad seeing Bunnings is usually cheaper. Now, my garden is looking a lot better than it did at the beginning of Christmas.

@bkbinthecity@dawnee Thank you both for your lovely comments. I'm coming to the end of my three-year garden fix-up. I get in and work on the garden - pouring some serious dosh into it - every three years. Otherwise, I just prune it, water it and fertilise it in between waiting to save up the money to do it all over again.
