The Butterfly

I found this lovely butterfly on my wombat ornament in the backyard.

Yes, the wombat has no ears, no thanks to someone who carelessly snipped them off with their whipper-snipper a few years ago... my poor little wombat looks really weird, but I love him.

@dawnee When I found him on the side of the road, he had ears, and I thought he was such a cutie! So, of course he was added to my garden. But when my caretaker offered to 'clean up the edges' in my garden, he wasn't careful enough with my sweet little wombat who was hiding amongst the weeds... :( when I was raking up the mess, I found only one of the ears as the other had been flung somewhere over the fence! So, I threw the odd one in the bin. :(
