It's been 2 years, and already another Agave is beginning to flower!
It takes 30 years for these things to flower; then die. So, it looks like this whole bed of them are around 30 years old... right when this place opened and the previous tenant moved in; planting these amazing plants.
One little problem: the last one - which is dead - hasn't been removed; and it's still sitting there (dead) waiting to be taken out by the Body Corporate. So, what will happen to this one, once it's finished flowering?
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
