I spotted this on the Latest page and just had to look in on your project to say how lovely this is, clever you!
I'm much the same age as yourself and a long-time knitter who enjoys lace knitting (mostly scarves and neck warmers) but I've never undertaken such a large project as this - respect!

@dulciknit Thank you so much, that is really appreciated. Actually the pattern isn't difficult as it is knitted in triangles which are sewn together, the most tedious part was the edging

@mumswaby oh, goodness, I bet that edge was hard ploughing. I remember from knitting shawls for babies just how tedious edges can be - and so-o-o fiddly if you're picking up stitches from the main body of the work as you go along!
