Went downtown Milwaukee to the Harley Davidson museum. Trying to distract myself a bit from worry. My daughter and son-in-law went to a their new condo in Western mountain part of North Carolina. Before the hurricane reached land in Florida she showed me the pictures of water running through their area at that time. That was Thursday at 7:00pm. I have not heard from them since. I know powerlines are done and devastating flooding in the area. Waiting to get a text or call that they are ok. If you are a praying person, please pray for them and others trapped.
Update - just heard from her and they are safe! Totally demolished everything around them, Road collapsed but their property intact! Running water and building neighbors sharing food with each other. Praise and glory to God!!

@grammyn I just heard from them this morning while at church. They just bought a condo near Mt. Mitchel in Western NC. The area their place is had the highest floods in the country over 30" . The road by their place totally collapsed. Everything around their place demolished, however water up to their house and their home is fine! :) A HUGE miracle. They don't have power or cell service, somehow their rental truck didn't get damaged either and they risked going somewhere they got brief cell service and were able to make a few quick calls. They actually have running water. Not much food but some peanut butter and their building neighbors have some food and they are sharing. They are reading the Bible together! :)
