Street Shot - Communication (3 examples) "get pushed" challange
Notice the 3 couples in this shot.
1) The couple in the front not talking to each other but clearly arrived there together, but their attention is somewhere else. (Obviously this shot doesn't tell the complete story.)
2) Then look at the couple upper left - engaged in a conversation, a bit of a distance between them, casual acquaintances of some sort.
3) Look at the top right - very intense eye contact, I want you to hear what I have to say to you and not be distracted by anything else message. I feel as if he is about to pop the question - maybe.
This was for the "Get Pushed" challenge. Sophie challenged me to do "street photography". She said I could do one character or a group of people.
This was so much fun and I needed to get pushed a bit to do street photography. I loved it and will do much more of it. Thank you Sophie for the challenge!!!
Great job Kathy!! I love how you have played with the colors on the 3 couples, and the theme of communication!!! I love it!
I loved the first shot you had loaded too, but this one go further (hope it's the right expression...)
I'm very happy that you have loved this challenge!! I know that it was a "double-challenge" for you, because you had to go out of your town, and I am very happy you did it!!! :D
excellent presentation - instant fav; like how you processed it and the explanations. The couple in the front are married (happily) to each other - same wedding rings, and even though their attention is elsewhere they are leaning towards each other.
I like your assessments of the siturations. Another reason that I didn't join this challenge. I feel invasive doing street photography. I really don't think I could get over it...also, I have often wondered why I would want photos of a bunch of people that I don't even know.
