This is my first attempt at the Camera Settings Challenge on double exposure. I was so excited to learn that this is a setting my camera has - I never even looked at the camera menu before!!!!
I didn't have lots of time but I wanted to quickly try it so this is my first attempt.
@rockinrobyn please do, join us in the camera settings challenge for this.
Here is how you do it on the D5100
Turn camera on, press the button that says menu on the top left next to the eye viewer. There you will find the shooting menu, last choice is double exposure you must select "on" and then how many shots 2 or 3.
@myhrhelper Thanks for checking. I checked it too and indeed my 60D and 5DII doesn't have it. I also wonder if besides to test for fun, you can use it for something. I will follow the postings for the challenge, maybe I change my mind.

"Canon’s new EOS 5D Mark III and EOS-1D X are the first EOS models to introduce in-camera multiple exposures, and in this Digital Learning Center article, you’ll be introduced to a capability which dwarfs that which was possible on earlier film cameras."

My Sony A500 does not have this setting. I have decided to sit out for CSC-11.
