2nd Edit- It was pointed out that my 1st picture was a bit dark - I looked at it again and had to agree. Here is the lightened version.
Went out to dinner with my mom this evening. I think she couldn't believe I was taking pictures of my food, she has been patient with me taking out that camera every time I go somewhere with her. We had a good time, she just got out of the hospital on Tuesday. I love my mom.
This was part of my Get Pushed challenge. I think this looks a little better than those beets. I didn't make this food, I hope that's not cheating.

@ameenramana Here is my final go at this challenge. What do you think. The original version was a bit dark so I moved it to December. Can't wait to see your challenge shot! :)
(Incidentally, if you find you need to edit a picture after it's been uploaded, Picmonkey will let you edit it while it's up, by clicking the "edit" tag in the side menu - nobody gets to see the new version until you're happy with it - and it will then just overwrite the old pic while keeping all your comments, etc.)
