Walking the tight Rope by myhrhelper

Walking the tight Rope

This is just slightly different processing.
Please tell me which you prefer.
Thanks

Here is the description:
In spring I purchased some flowers to go in front of our home. I bought some big beautiful flowers that were good at attracting hummingbirds and these purple & pink flowers to attract butterflies. I wanted some good photos & thought they would be a nice addition to the front of my house next to my picture window. The hummingbird flowers died - too much direct sun and these grew very nicely but I have yet to see a single butterfly! What I do see are these wasps or hornets or whatever this stinging aggressive thing is. Now I need to find a place to transplant it for next year. My husband laughs at (or with) me about this. He knows I'm the biggest coward when it comes to these things and I chose the flowers that attract these guys. Oh it is so scary walking past them and I need to walk ever so carefully so they don't see me..
Oh and I took this picture from the INSIDE of my house!

My tags for the Tag Challenge was Purple & Flower
I thought with this combination I have no excuse to not do a tag challenge photo this week.
This is beautiful! I love the tones!

This one has warmer coloring, but on the other one the bee stands out much better I think.

Oh I keep going back and forth, but I think this one is softer.

@myautofocuslife Thank you, do you know what this is? Is this a wasp, hornet, yellow jacket? I know all hornets are actually a type of wasp too.

I prefer this one with the warmer tones. The other one is too blue.
Kathy, are you certain these are stinging wasps/hornets? Some are quite beneficial to the garden and will control certain other insects but generally won't sting humans unless they feel threatened. I have no idea one way or the other about the one in your pic, so just wondering.

Hi Kathy,

My "Get Pushed" challenge for you is an architectural shot with no processing.

@mej2011 sounds good challenge accepted - does cropping count or what about pre in camera settings?

@myhrhelper
Cropping is fine. I suppose pre- in camera settings are okay. I want the final project to look as close to as it really is.

I prefer this one for the lovely tones. Great idea to turn it 90 degrees :)
