It sure is strange how I can have a camera in my hand then turn around and I can say "wow, do you see those glasses stacked up so nice?" and the person next to me might say "yes, so what" and then you tell them how that might make a good photo and they think we are crazy, or I'm crazy.
I wonder if there isn't something in that camera lens that we look through?
When I took the photo I planned some editing but since my computer is dead and I'm using a dinosour I can't download to Ipiccy, Picmonkey or even Facebook! I can't believe this site allowed me to download this SOOC photo.
Haha! I so identified with your thoughts here! I often say to my husband 'oh look at this/that/those clouds' etc with a view to a photo and he looks at me like I've lost the plot! I'd have taken a photo of these glasses too, well observed and composed!
I like it, the weird looks and snide comments when I am flat on my front in the middle of a busy street, it reminds me that I am living my life by my rules. People do think I am crazy, I am a bit of a joke at work and they are crazy because they think i'm that off it that I don't know this.
@ayearinthelifeof - that's a great mantra to live by Eddie ' living life by your own rules'..... I'm going to adopt that philosophy and start lying down in the middle of streets too! (Mind you, I have manky ol knees, I may not be able to get up, so if you see me, lend us a hand up will you!)
I find that since I've started this project I see art in places I've never noticed before! I swear I even see in DOF vision sometimes! I got my first "your crazy" look the other day taking a pic for a 30 day challenge I'm doing. Guilty of feeling the need to explain myself, but sure that will pass in time too ;) Great shot!
It's cool to be crazy! My workmate told me a lady was in for lunch & after she had finished she asked to take a picture of one of the dining chairs cos she was doing a photography challenge on FB. We are everywhere us crazy people. Terrific shot, love the dof. It keeps you guess how many there actually are
