The star pattern of the street light is evidence of a long exposure (8 seconds) and for Port Washington at Dusk I believe you caught its good side!!! Good job Kathy, but now I can't shoot there anymore!
@ajes Why can't you go there? I have been there earlier and always see something different. I like to go to the different Lake Michigan ports. Each time I see something new. I think when you go you will see shots I didn't see.
It' s like with the Holy Hill shots we took; I don't want to be "competing" with you. I'm still going to bike there and if I see a good shot I'll attempt to capture it but for the type of shots you're taking I'll need my tripod and lens-and I don't want to compete..besides there are other venues to explore-ike the Domes!!!
@ajes I've been just trying everything. We initially planned to go to Natures Edge hiking & shooting photos (John & I) but the trails were closed due to hunters. We were 1/2 way to port with limited sunlight left. Had I known we were going there I would have brought my tripod but didn't have it so I tried to set my camera on things to rest it.
I understand what you are saying, but for me personally it isn't a competition thing it is more about trying new things and having fun. The Domes has been on my bucket list, but I want to get the inside. I LOVE your gorgeous outside domes shot!
