First Day of Winter - view larger please if you have a moment

It looks like winter, feels like winter. It is the shortest day of the year and from now on the days get longer. Seems funny how that works when we haven't even had the coldest days of the year yet.

To take this photo I had to walk through deep snow - my feet are still wet. Yes, winter is hear so let's get this season over with quickly.
