A. announced that she's coming for lunch, and I've seen this Halloween gnocchi a few times now. They all used pumpkin, but since I didn't have it at home, I used carrots instead. I made carrot gnocchi and shaped them like pumpkins with basil stems in the middle. I had to cook them a bit longer since they didn't want to float. They were not bad, and the sauce was even better.
