I was green up there too...Scary high....long.... bridge...
Astoria-Megler Bridge...that bridges Washington to Oregon...It is 4.1 miles long across the mouth of the Columbia River..(all water) The bridges main span is 1,232 feet in length and the longest continuous truss in the nation. It is built to withstand 150 mphs of wind. Bikes travel on it as well.
