'I wake up lonely, there's air of silence, In the bedroom and all around '

lhxdblfghsbdlfgjsbg I hate this so much. I had an idea for what I wanted to do for a picture to this lyric but my Toy Story duvet just wasn't doing it so I messed around with my curtains but didn't really get very far and this shot is absolutely crap.

Also, I feel like I'm failing my exams and I'm so tired.

Also, I saw something earlier and I was wondering any of your views on it, what do you wish you had known when you were my age? (I'm 17, so when you were a teen) ...it was just an article I saw and I was just thinking about it, lol.
this is a work of art. I think its super cool.
Also, i am seventeen as well or i would tell you :)
But i would say tht seventeen is the ideal age i really dont want to turn 18!!
(in four days eeeek!)

Was sailing today and someone said you can't see the wood for the trees and it took me ages to understand, I'm in the same boat taken exams and failing.

Damn...I messed up what I said in the first part of this, so now I have to type it all over again.

I would call this abstract, and not crap.

As far as what I wish I had known. Two things...
1. Don't be in such a hurry to grow up, and don't be in such a hurry period. Time really does go by faster the older you get.
2. It's OK to make mistakes, especially if you can learn from them.

Neat

Great abstract. I wish two things people had told me...
1. It will be all right.
2. Don't get a hurry to get married....of course you all know that now days. I would have married the same person but maybe would have waited a little longer.

This reminds me of the Nothern Lights! It's a very cool abstract photo. What I wish I knew when I was your age: That I would like myself eventually (I didn't really then). That it is really important to believe in yourself enough to follow your dream, even if it seems like an unlikely dream. That the most important thing in life is the love you give to every human being you meet, even if they don't deserve it. Love and life are like a karma boomerang - whatever you throw out there is exactly what comes back to you. That said, if someone told me that at your age, I probably wouldn't believe him or her. One last thing: it's possible to fake confidence and even happiness and if you do, it doesn't take long before you actually are confident and happy. That one is weird but true.

this is a really neat shot, kind of abstract and cool looking!

what i wish i had known when i was 17:
1.that I didn't have to make all my life decisions right away. it's okay to make mistakes with school/career choices, and okay to change my mind.

2. I wish I had known to be happier with myself at that age. Of course when i was 17 i wanted to change things about myself. Now looking back I see I wasted time and was fine the way i was :)

what i wish i'd known when i was 17? wow that's a hard one. I think possibly that the thoughts and feelings you have don't change much when you get older but that you are much more adept at handling them so stuff doesn't always seem so bad. And probably also that this time of life is maybe the hardest time of life - so much studying / life choices / formulation on who you are as a person / doing things for the first time alone (ie university, living away etc etc). mayeb this second poart is what makes the first part true. Having said all that - I did find that time in my life difficult at the time, but I also look back on it with lots of fond memories - enjoy the moments you have - you only have them once!

Cool shot by the way. Sorry not been browsing and commenting much - dead busy at work. Hope exams get over and done with quickly - Good luck buddy

Cool photo Naomi. Sorry to hear that you feel like you are failing - lets hope you are wrong!

I wish that I had known that I didn't have to grow up so quickly, that I didn't have to make all my life decisions when I was so young. I wish that I had taken the time to travel, have fun and get to know me before committing to marriage, family and career.

I like the lighting, shades of grey a lot. As for things I wish I'd known as a teen. I wish I'd known to date less and study more, to worry less about boys that ultimately wouldn't matter in my life at all and just be patient and wait for the one that would. My grades would have been much better and I'd probably have been happier to boot!

I have the same feelings with my exams. It's the end of the year, and my grades are still terrible, even if I started to learn. Students ;)

I wish I had listened to my parents and I wish I had tried harder in school! :)

I'm with @kellyjo26 - seventeen was the best age; not quite a kid but not yet an adult. You can pretty much get away with anything :) Also, it's true what the others are saying, the mistakes you make now are okay to make... you don't have to have it all figured out!

BTW, this is lovely :)
