'I'd give all I have, honey, If you could stay like that'
Today has been very difficult and I'm very tired. We told the people at school who needed to know. There has been a lot of people upset at school and people are very shocked. But school have handled it all incredibly well. And people generally are being very mature about it and we're all just supporting the family. I went to see my friend after school today. Another friend came in with me, we took her a bag with some nutella, peanut butter, home made brownies, movies, a CD and a card. We talked to her for a long time, both light-heartedly and more seriously. I think she's doing as well as can be expected and I hope we cheered her up! She was quite fragile and held her teddy (everyone needs teddies at any age!), but she was talking with us about random things and laughing with us. She was even able to talk a bit about the night it happened. I can't imagine ever having to deal with what she has seen. It's just awful. But everyone's being incredibly supportive and I think they're going to be okay.
It must have been a hard day. Coming home to a teddy bear that doesn't judge and gives endless hugs is always great. Lovely message here! I hope things start getting better for you all soon!
She is so lucky to have a friend like you...and her teddy bear. I't so good that you can be there for her in this most difficult time in her life. I wish you all the best.
As I've been through what your friend is going through..I'm speaking from experience. She looks fine now because she's in shock. In the first days you don't really realize what's happening, especialy with the funeral and everything going so fast..You should stick with her and don't leave her alone, her thoughts are gonna jump all over her.:(
