'These walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down'

Not entirely happy with this one...

Today was nice. We all went to the cinema and saw the new Johnny English film which was really funny! It's the first time that I've actually been out the house to see people on a Sunday...or been to the cinema with more then one person, in absolutely ages! So it was really nice :]

A lot of things are changing at the moment. I'm working through some stuff in my head. My friend's obviously going through a lot of changes at the moment. And I think most people my age are, too, as we become adults and leave high school behind us. I'll be the first to admit that I am utterly crap when it comes to change. I don't like it all that much and don't tend to cope with it very well at all. But sometimes it has to be done.
Wow! Your quote and comments for today are so much like mine! Wow! We are thinking alike today! I also do like change; I've hated the changes that I have had to endure. Your picture really focuses on change as well.

This is lovely! What do you use for your editing?

I've had a lot of change in my life in the past 5 years. A lot of changes that I never expected or intended for my life ahead. I used to be horrible at change. But I keep getting stronger with each new thing. I've learned that sometime embracing change is the only way to stay happy. Love this shot!

like the earth tones presented here.

I think you captured the essence of that quote quite nicely. One of these days you will wake up and find that you've made the adjustment into the change that you were dreading. Trust your instincts and try not to second guess so much.

I just read a quote from someone else's photo, and it really pertains to what you've written above, so thought I'd share:

Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reach new heights. ~Pauline R. Kezer

Fantastic shot! I love the detail (: And I know what you mean about change...with some things, I'm okay with change, but it's really difficult to both let people in and out of my life. I think it comes from moving around so much.

Naomi, this is awesome, I love the bokeh and the color tones are great. They say change is character building... we need change to become who we will be. Much hugs to you and your friend.

I think this photo is fabulous, and it perfectly matches your words. Change is hard, but it can herald in a new season. That's what I take from this. (That said, I don't much like change either!)

Love the detail of the photo and the beautiful bokeh, too. Change is definitely in the air for you and your classmates and though of course it will be hard, it will ultimately be wonderful.
