'The wheel breaks the butterfly'

This is the first time I've ever attempted shaped bokeh. It's not nearly as good as most I've seen on this site, but not too bad for a first attempt...?

I think this is very good!!! The shape may not be small enough yet, that may be why you are getting some cut off. Very very good first attempt!!!!!

@naomi Your lens should tell you the lowest (numerical)aperture number...as far as conversion to size of the shape, I can't give you a hard number w/o some research but I would say start as small as possible and go up from there. My first attempt wasn't a success by any means, something I need to attempt again. You on the other hand did amazing for your first try, Great job!
