Today I looked after the twins, then went to a meeting before going round Leeds with the twins and their Mum.
She bought me a little owl lip gloss which is really cute, to say thank you for looking after them. :) Then later, we were at lunch and she gave me a box containing this charm as an early Christmas present. It represents the two twins and honestly, I was just so overwhelmed. It's just so lovely and kind of her and It's just really, really nice when someone shows their appreciation in such a thoughtful way. Honestly makes me want to cry (in a good way!). I do go around there to lend a hand a fair bit, but honestly, they help me so much, too. I love playing with the girls and love spending time with them and watching them grow and develop. I also really like lending their Mum a hand because she's great fun to be around and absolutely lovely! (their Dad is, too, but I don't see him as often). So yeah, just so overwhelmed!
In the last couple of days, I have realised how lucky I am so have such wonderful people in my life. I honestly have some of the most amazing and supportive friends, even if sometimes I don't realise they're there.
