The colours on this are looking different on every device/programme I view it on so apologies if it's super yellow on your screen.
I got a new phone today and it might sound exciting but it's really anxiety-provoking! For one, I'm not at all good with change. For two, I'm rubbish at spending 'non-essential' money on myself, and in my opinion, if my old phone wasn't absolutely not working, then buying a new one isn't essential (nevermind the fact it was freezing more than it worked lol). Finally, my old phone was inherited it from Mum. She had it for years, then when she died, I took ownership of it because nobody else wanted it.
So, I don't have Mum's old phone any more, but I do still have her in my pocket because I've made one of my favourite photos of us my lock screen :)
I love the sentiment that you've shared behind the photo. I'm sorry you lost your mom and I love the photo you have on there. Your story touched my heart.
I understand your anxiety. I had a wallet that I carried around for years after my eldest passed away, it was hers. When it finally couldn't be used anymore, I felt so lost. I'm sorry about your mum .. sending hugs
Such a meaningful photo. I really enjoyed reading your commentary. I'm sorry you lost your Mom, but what a great idea it was to make one of your favorite photos your lock screen so that you can enjoy it day after day and feel her presence.
