Hope in a poem by naomi

Hope in a poem

I know you think the world is too dark to even dream in colour,
but I’ve seen flowers bloom at midnight,
I’ve seen kites fly in gray skies,
and they were real close to looking like the sunrise,
and sometimes it takes the most wounded of wings,
the most broken of things, to notice how strong the breeze is,
how precious the flight.
- Andrea Gibson

I'm struggling on without a camera or laptop! SO I'm really sorry that I haven't replied to anyone for the last few days.

Thankfully my lovely flatmate has left me her laptop for the weekend and hopefullyyyyy I'm getting my camera back off my brother tomorrow :)

I finally accepted the job today which is scary and arghhh but hopefully good. I'm just worried about fitting everything in but I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Also we're in the Yorkshire Evening Post! http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/news/mother-s-day-children-s-hospice-fundraising-campaign-in-leeds-doctor-s-memory-1-8457514
We'll agree that ALL your art pages are wonderful!!! Perfect words to go along, and a huge hug and congratulations for accepting a job!!! You'll be terrific...just believe in yourself...many of your friends, here, do! And what a wonderful article that was, and a brilliant idea! In that short piece I now know so much more about your most-impressive mother (with one of my favourite names!) and your dear brothers with YOU! Fantastic, m'friend!

Love your journal art and the verse today - inspiring. I read the article about your mom - she sounds so lovely. How wonderful that you and your brothers have started this fundraiser. I'm sure your mother would be so proud of her children! Congratulations on the job!

@Weezilou Thank you - Mum was amazing. I learned so much about her after she become ill/died. There's an obituary of her in the Royal College Of Physicians that taught me a lot about her work. As I child I could never understand why she was never home but now I know!
@linnypinny Thank you - electorincs are a pain aren't they! I'm hoping to have my laptop back next week
@365karly1 Thank you - Mum was amazing. As a teenager I argued wth her a lot, but the more unwell I became, the more she stepped up, and then she became ill. We were firm friends by the time she died.
@777margo Thank you so much x
@alophoto Thank you - hope is the only thing stronger than fear :)
