This is such an important one. Almost two years ago I attempted this “Reasons To Eat” page. I didn’t come up with many. But number two is ‘To be able to drive to visit Kate S’, and number five is ‘So that I don’t miss out on the next Newcastle reunion’. We didn’t quite manage a full reunion this weekend - but I managed to drive up there to see two of my best friends - the kinds of friends you can always pick up where you left off with.
I’m exhausted tonight. I’ve overdone it and my body is telling me about it, but I’ll be fine after an early night. When I wrote this, I never even dreamed it would come true. But it is coming true. Slowly I’m achieving all of the goals I ever set myself. It’s time to start making some new goals.
How amazing for you to look back and see how far you have come. And here on 365 we have the privilege of being able to share in celebrating this achievement. You are really going places!
How fulfilling it must be to have set goals that seemed unreachable and yet you have reached them! Congratulations for working so hard - a bit at a time adds up to a lot, doesn't it? I've always loved your journal work - so creative.
