RIP Phoebe

I had a phone call from a friend this morning telling me, between tears, that he'd called the vet to come and put his beautiful, 19 year old, dog down. I jumped in my car and drove the hour to see him. I was so glad I managed to get there before the vet and had the opportunity to say goodbye to the sweet girl. Walks around the island will not be the same anymore...

What a beautiful photo, and what a beautiful friend you are to go there to be with him. It is really tough when one has to make that decision or say goodbye to a pet who has been a loved member of the family
