One from tonight's Raku firing... Stewart has taken the work from the kiln (about 1000 C) and is placing it in a bin with sawdust and paper. The lid goes on, reduction happens, after 10 minutes or so it gets taken out, sprayed with water and then cleaned when it has cooled.
@anniesue not sure who's work that was...I am allowed to use the tongs, but having dropped work in the past, I'd rather not! My job last night was to throw the paper and sawdust into the bins. I did take all my work out of the bins though tonight.
