Not Kintsugi by narayani

Not Kintsugi

Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique of mending ceramics with a natural resin and gold powder. "Not Kintsugi" is me experimenting with glue and ceramic stain. I like it πŸ˜„
I like it too. Is this a raku piece broken in the fire?

@seacreature thanks Desi. The breaks usually happen as they come out of the kiln and suffer the thermal shock of going from 1000C to whatever the outside temp is. Sometimes they blow up in the kiln. Sometimes they get damaged/dropped going from kiln to bins or when taken out of the bins. Sometimes on the way home if they're not packed properly...the possibilities of disaster are endless!!
