Yesterday

Today I went to photograph the beautiful jacaranda tree in the garden of my old house...it's been chopped down!! I had a little cry.

Oh so sad 😞. How could they?! They were blooming when I was in California visiting Andy a couple years ago. I practically stopped in my tracks the first time I saw one, it was gorgeous!

oh I'm so sorry! It always so upsetting to see a tree chopped down. Glad you caught such a gorgeous photo of it... i love the warmth, contrast, texture, and composition.

@peggyhuffman this isn't the jacaranda Peggy...there was nothing left of that. 😞 This is the trunk of a eucalypt
