Easter by narayani

Easter

Last night my lovely Ukrainian neighbour (with the pink hair) invited me for dinner to celebrate orthodox Easter... great food (and vodka) And I won the egg cracking, so bring on the good luck! (Shingles are getting worse and I'm totally over it 🙁)
use your good luck on the shingles! (aren't you infectious?)

@anniesue yes that's where I'm directing my luck! No not infectious...you can only get shingles from yourself...if you've had chicken pox. I could give chicken pox to someone who hasn't had it (like my son?!) but it would have to involve physical contact with the rash. (And its nicely but uncomfortably hidden under clothes)

Sounds like fun evening! I had shingles last year, horrible! Hope it goes soon...

@jclaireyp thank you 😊 me too! (How long did it last?!)

@narayani I had had it for a while before I realised! I just felt awful.... but all in all I reckon 4-6 weeks! But gradually improved. I did go back to work after a week which I think was too soon!

Looks like a lovely celebration. It sounds like you could be dealing with these shingles for quite awhile. But I hope not for your sake. Did you have a fever at any point?

@bf2016 thanks Barbara

@beckyk365 I hope not Becky!! Haven't really had a fever - few flushes - nothing serious

What a nice bright table setting. Sorry to hear you are having a bad time with the shingles.

@seacreature the table looked fabulous Desi. Lubika had made such a huge effort - it was really special. (Shingles seem to be improving...Sunday was the worst)
