Tony

Sean had an appointment to meet with an old lecturer of mine to get some advice on mould making and bronze casting. It was so lovely to see him again. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to get a decent shot that was actually in focus 😕
Looks okay to me. Is Sean doing bronze casting? Creative and good with his hands just like his Mum....

The slight lack of focus doesn't bother me at all, I just love all the details in the workshop.

@judithdeacon thanks Judith (it bothers me!)

@seacreature thanks Desi. I need to get more comfortable asking people to pose for me.
Sean is very creative and way better than me at everything he’s tried so far 😉

It's really not that bad focus-wise - but I'm sure you won't be convinced :)

Wow that is quite a workshop! I didn’t notice any focusing issues at all!!

@beckyk365 The workshop was SO full of work, both finished and in progress, tools, materials...inside and out...it would be great to go there and take some “proper” photos. I’ll post an outside shot soon...

I meant to ask about the mould making and bronze casting?! Not the typical hobby of a 20-something, or for anybody really. How did that interest get started?

@beckyk365 Haha! He’s never been very “typical” 😄 He’s studying Product Design, and the product he’s designed for this term, he wants to make in bronze and concrete.
PS They were things I learnt at art school but I’ve forgotten the fine (and very important) details. Things that are no longer taught!! 🙁
