Yes they are beautiful aren't they! And this is such a lovely shot. Takes me back to my childhood in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe now). My grandparents had an enormous Jacaranda in the corner of the garden. So many happy hours were spent lying under that tree gazing up in wonderment just like in this photo. We had streets lined with Jacarandas - totally awesome. But my grandparent's tree was special because we could climb it, and lie on the lawn under it
@photographycrazy@seacreature@anniesue they are such stunning trees. There was one in my childhood home and a beautiful one in our last house. Sean would climb it and leap onto the trampoline 😄 There are several suburbs here that have them as street trees...just gorgeous.
I just love these trees! The first time I saw them I was visiting Andy when he lived in California. I made him pull over so I could take some photos of them.
