Well I picked up the car. The mechanic had “kindly” rotated the tyres at no charge...now it pulls to the left and I have to get them balanced, or rotated back again! Then I had my second go at getting all the oil off the driveway but didn’t leave the degreaser on long enough so now I have to try again...third time lucky I’m hoping! 😫 But hey, the repairs came in under budget 🤗
Is the oil on your driveway really bad? When I had folk renting the granny cottage they left loads of oil on my driveway and promised to clean it - said it would clean off with petrol. They have never come back to clean it and I don't have the heart to ask them to do so, but while petrol is the lowest price it has been for years I am thinking I might buy some and try it out myself. I have heard from other people as well to use petrol to get rid of the oil on the driveway
@seacreature Ah...I didn’t think of petrol. If I hadn’t been so flustered and impatient, I’m sure the second can of degreaser would have worked. I’ll have to wait til it dries out again after the rain now to try again.
