After another stinking hot day, I met the kids at the beach for fish and chips and a swim. It was lovely to see Ren in the ocean.

It was beautiful at the beach this evening. I'm not looking forward to the temperatures forecast for the next week. 🥵

Been unbelievably hot here on the West Coast too. Some days I have felt unable to actually achieve anything at all. And certainly couldn't sit in my study in front of a computer. This seems to be the hottest room in the house in summer, and coldest in winter.
